Sigma Iota Omega Chapter welcomes community support and involvement in our activities at both the local and international levels as we collaborate to advance the mission of our organization.
Sigma Iota Omega Chapter members are prepared, poised, committed, and empowered to meet the needs of our communities by providing programs and activities that benefit our communities and continue to advance the legacy of our founders – to be of service to all mankind. Under the leadership of our International President, Dr. Glenda Glover, the chapter implements the sorority’s current 2018- 2022 international program, Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the 14th President. The rich legacy of the Sigma Iota Omega Chapter dates back to 1990 when Dr. Marye Jeffries, 11th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director chartered Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Sigma Iota Omega chapter in Fairmont, North Carolina on March 11, 1990.
